What the generator does
The generator selects from a curated library of passages in the Old and New Testaments. You can filter by testament and choose a shorter or longer reading.
The passages are selected using randomness in your browser. The site does not claim that a generated passage is a prediction, a private revelation, or a guaranteed answer to a personal question.
Why passages instead of isolated verses?
Short passages preserve more context than a single sentence. Each result also includes a link to the complete chapter so that you can continue reading.
What this first version contains
This starter release contains a limited, curated passage library. It does not yet contain every chapter or every verse of the Bible. More passages can be reviewed and added over time.
Important: This website is a reading aid. It is not a replacement for a local church, pastoral care, professional counseling, or careful study of Scripture.
